Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

We stayed a night at the Walt Disney Dolphin before we visited Hollywood Studios for Star Wars weekends.

The surrounding grounds of the Dolphin are lush with vegetation and plant life. There is a small body of water with a white sand beach between the Dolphin and Swan that adds to the tropical theming. Crescent Lake is located to the left of the Dolphin and provides easy access by boat to both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The fountain between the hotel and the boat landing is beautiful, especially at night. The fountain is several stories high and water flows from giant seashells into the fountain, which is supported by giant dolphins. The pyramid shaped tower provides an outstanding backdrop.

There is plenty of room to relax with 5 swimming pools, the Balinese-themed Mandara Spa, whirlpools and saunas. Guests also enjoy a wide range of recreation facilities including 2 health clubs, 4 tennis courts, jogging trails, a white sand beach, Swan paddle boat rentals and seasonal poolside activities. It is located just about 5 minutes from the Boardwalk and across the street from mini golf  at Fantasia Gardens.

You do also get Disney Perks such as Extra Magic Hours in theme parks, complimentary transportation, on-site character dining, and advance tee times on championship golf courses.
